Why I Became The Mortgage Pinay
My nursing background taught me to listen carefully, explain things clearly, and support people through important decisions. I bring that same care into mortgage conversations.
I moved from the Philippines to Canada in 2008 as a Registered Nurse because I wanted to build a better future for my family.
Later, I learned how mortgages work because I wanted to understand my own options—not just how to get approved, but how mortgage decisions affect cash flow, interest cost, equity, and long-term wealth.
The more I learned, the more I realized many Filipino families were making major mortgage decisions without fully understanding their options.
That is why I became The Mortgage Pinay.
Today, I help Filipino families across Canada understand mortgages clearly, whether they are buying their first home, buying another property, refinancing, renewing, or planning to grow a real estate portfolio.
